The Best Mojitos

What is more refreshing than a Minty, Lime-y, Boozy😏 Mojito!! So simple to make at home with only 5 Ingredients!!! Want to make it fancy? Champagne Mojitos! Perfect way to celebrate any occasions! I’m sharing both recipes with you! Cheers!!


Classic Mojito:

  • 1 Lime, about 1 ounce juice
  • 2 Ounces White Rum
  • 1 Ounce Simple Syrup
  • 10-12 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Club Soda or Sparkling Water

Champagne Mojito:

  • 1 Lime, about 1 ounce juice
  • 1 Ounce Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 Ounce White Rum
  • 10-12 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 6-8 Ounces Champagne or Prosecco

Simple Syrup:

  • 1 Cup White Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water


Classic Mojito:

  1. In a tall glass, add 1 lime cut into 4-6 pieces, 10-12 fresh mint leaves and 1 ounce simple syrup. Muddle everything together until the lime has released all of it’s juices.
  2. Add ice to your glass, and add 2 ounces light rum. Mix everything together.
  3. Top with 6-8 ounces club soda or sparkling water.
  4. Garnish with extra mint leaves and lime slices.
  5. Serve immediately, Enjoy!

Champagne Mojito:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the juice of 1 lime, about 1 ounce. 10-12 fresh mint leaves and 1 ounce simple syrup. Muddle everything together.
  2. Add a few ice cubes and 1.5 ounces light rum. Shake, Shake, Shake!!
  3. In a wine glass, add ice, strain mint/lime/rum mixture over ice.
  4. Top with 6-8 ounces Champagne or Prosecco.
  5. Serve with extra mint leaves and limes slices.
  6. Serve immediately, Enjoy!

Simple Syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, add 1 cup granulated white sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer until sugar is dissolved and let cool completely.
  2. You will only use 1 ounce per cocktail so store leftovers in the fridge for later use, will keep up to a month.
