Well, Here. We. Go. #ThirstyThursday Holiday Edition Round 2🙌🏻🙌🏻, Who’s exciteddd!! 

It doesn’t get more Festive than a Cranberry & Rosemary Cocktail, am I right? It’s pink, It’s delicious, *and* it’s healthy because we’re topping it off with some delicious Kombucha😉. Now, if you are in the Moncton area, I used the delicious local Kissing Rocks Kombucha in this cocktails. Which is legit, one of the best Kombucha’s I’ve had. And, why not support some local ladies when we can right? These girls are killing it with all the seasonal flavours too. Their Cranberry/Apple Kombucha was exactly what I needed to fizz up this cocktail. Now, if you can’t get your hands on some of this awesomeness, don’t panic. Go to your local Farmers Market or Health Food Store and I’m sure you can find an alternative. But if you can… Go. For. It👌🏻!! 

So besides being😍😍, this Cocktail is Darn tasty and is sure to impress anyone you have over during the holidays #winning. Let me brake it down for you!

Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup: You make this SS like all the others. Equal parts sugar and water and add 1 cup fresh/frozen cranberries + 5-6 sprigs of fresh rosemary. THEN (this is the exciting part) Once the SS has boiled and the berries and herbs have infused the syrup, you strain it for your cocktail. Don’t you dare get rid of those sweetened rosemary infused cranberries… can you imagine that spread on a crostini with brie??!!! Hello Holiday Appetizer!! Listen, sometimes I have good ideas… this is ones of those times. Drinks/Apps Covered = #youwin, again!!!

Alcohol: I used Vodka, Gin would be equally delicious! You Pick. You’ll get more of that rosemary/herby flavour with gin, and vodka will be more of a neutral flavour. I do 1 1/2 – 2 ounces per cocktail… but… depending on the day you had, you be the judge of that. k😊?

Lime Juice: Always need some acidity in a cocktail so, lime juice it is. Fresh Lime Juice, Always…

Kombucha: Like I mentioned, I used 2-3 ounces of the Kissing Rocks Kombucha Cranberry/Apple Kombucha per cocktail. It works great with the flavours we have going on here.

For 2 Cocktails:

  • 2 Ounces Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • 2 Ounces Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 3-4 Ounces Vodka or Gin
  • 4-6 Ounces Cranberry/Apple Kissing Rocks Kombucha, or Kombucha of your choice

In a shaker, combine the Simple Syrup, Lime Juice and Vodka or Gin. Add lots of Ice. Shake, shake, shake and strain in two cocktail glasses over ice. Top each cocktail with Cranberry/Apple Kombucha, garnish with fresh cranberries and fresh rosemary and you have yourself a P-A-R-T-A-Y! So Festive, So Pretty, SO GOOD!

Festive, Delicious, Easy on the eyes, all the things a Holiday Cocktail Should be right? Perfect amount of sweetness, tang, kick and fizz with Kombucha. A must on your Holiday Cocktail Menu. #Cheers


For the Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  • 1 Cup White Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
  • 5 Large Fresh Rosemary Sprigs

For 2 Cocktails:

  • 2 Ounces Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • 2 Ounces Freshly squeezed Lime Juice
  • 3-4 Ounces Vodka or Gin
  • 4-6 Ounces Cranberry/Apple Kissing Rocks Kombucha, or Kombucha of your choice
  • Ice
  • Fresh Cranberries & Fresh Rosemary for garnish


For the Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, add the white granulated sugar, water, cranberries and fresh rosemary. Bring to a boil then lower to a simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes, remove from heat and let steep for another 15 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh sieve. *Don’t discard the cranberries/rosemary mixture, set aside.
  3. Once the syrup is completely cooled, store in the fridge until ready to use. The syrup can be made in advanced and will keep for up to a month in the fridge! #Holidayprep

For the Cranberry & Rosemary Kombucha Spritz:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup, Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice and Alcohol of choice (Vodka or Gin). Add lots of ice and Shake, Shake, Shake.
  2. Strain in two cocktail glasses over ice.
  3. Top each Cocktail with 2-3 ounces each of Cranberry/Apple Kombucha.
  4. Garnish with fresh cranberries + fresh rosemary and serve immediately.


*The Cranberry & Rosemary Simple Syrup can be made in advance and will keep for up to 4 weeks in the fridge.
**Do not add the Kombucha to the shaker… You will have a bit of an explosion! Make sure to top the cocktail off with it and not add it to the shaker.
***No alcohol? No problem! Skip the booze and make a mocktail no problem! Options for all 🙂
