Cranberry Ginger Kombucha Mule

🙋‍♀️It’s been a while since our last Thirsty Thursday hasn’t it?! Why not bring it back for a little Holiday edition!! 

Remember our last Holiday Kombucha Cocktail? Cranberry & Rosemary Kombucha Spritz 😍😍 YUM! Well if that was your jam.. You will love this one too!!!

I teamed up with my girl Danielle at Sequoia Dieppe & Moncton to create a fun Holiday Cocktail using some delicious ingredients from Sequoia. 

If you’re a Moscow Mule Fan, you know it’s usually made out of 3 things: Vodka, Lime Juice & Ginger Beer. Typically garnished with Lime wedge and sometimes fresh Mint. So to make it a little more Festive, I decided to add Some Cranberry Mint & Ginger Honey Simple to the Mix and swap the Ginger Beer for Ginger Kombucha (I actually prefer the Ginger Buch vs The Ginger Beer, sometime i find the GB a little overpowering). Anyways, SO Good!! A MM is also typically served in a Copper Mug filled with Ice so it’s nice and cold but you can totally serve in wtv Cocktail glass you have at home. I went with Honey vs Sugar for the Simple Syrup to be a little Healthier (might as well make the swap when we can in this Indulgent Season right? lol🤣) And also, Honey and Ginger are so yummy together🍯

The Cranberry Minter Ginger Honey Simple Syrup:

  • 1 Cup Local Honey 
  • 1 Heaping Cup Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
  • 1 1 Inch knob of Fresh Ginger, Sliced 
  • Handful Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1 Cup Water

Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan, Bring to a low bowl while stirring often (you don’t want the honey to burn) and simmer for 5-10 mins. Remove from heat, let cool completely, Strain through fine mesh sieve and store in fridge until ready to use. 

You will also need the Following:

  • Your fave Vodka, I like Tito’s
  • Ginger Kombucha
  • Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • Mint Leaves & Lime Wedges for Garnish
  • Ice

Fill you Copper Mug with ice so it gets nice and cold. Set aside. Add some ice to a cocktail shaker, add 1-2 ounces Vodka, 1 Ounce Fresh Lime Juice and 1 Ounce Simple Syrup. Shake it up and pour into mug. Top with 4 Ounces Ginger Kombucha, garnish with Fresh Mint & Lime. Make sure not to add the Kombucha to the Shaker💥💥

PPS: You can totally make this into a Mocktail, just omit the Vodka and add an extra .5 each of the lime juice and simple syrup!! I made some for my 🤰🤰 Friends this Weekend and they Loved it!!
